I have been on my personal fitness journey under the guidance of Head Coach and Fitness Trainer Bethanee Randles since September of 2018. In this time I have become stronger, faster, more technical, more resilient and more enthusiastic about my relationship with fitness than ever before. Coach B brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to each coaching session which has been a huge factor in my personal success. She has helped me work through/around preexisting injuries through intelligent modifications and scaling, coached me on being more efficient and safe with weight lifting movements, and created a nurturing atmosphere for learning and working towards new goals. During workouts she will swing by, check in, make a recommendation on changing a movement or stance just a little bit and all of a sudden something I've been working on just clicks! In Coach B's gym there is equal space and respect for those who are new to fitness, those who are seasoned athletes and everyone in between. To anybody considering group fitness, personal training and/or Olympic Weightlifting classes, I can't recommend Coach Bethanee Randles highly enough.

I have had the benefit of training with Bethanee for the past five years. When I first met Bethanee, she was a new trainer at a new (to me) gym here on Bainbridge Island. Many great things to say about Elevate Strength & Community. I have trained in college teams at a competitive level many years ago but it’s really hard to find someone you trust that can help you with your health and fitness goals. Bethanee and her team at Elevate do this amazingly. This is the place to be coached (and see results) in a healthy, positive and fun environment, while being part of a community

In this gym I found happiness, strength, confidence, and friendship. I learned how to lift properly, how to balance and coordinate for some pretty complex movements like the squat snatch, the kipping pull-up, the burpee, the Turkish get-up, the person-maker, and so many others. I rowed a half-marathon. I did the Murph. I participated in some competitions. I lifted some really heavy stuff. Even on the days I didn't do well, I had my mates there to cheer me on. I am often last to finish, but in this gym that's a source of pride and accomplishment. If you want to just clock in, do whatever, not talk to anybody, and take no criticism, this isn't the gym for you. If you want to grow as a human being and as an athlete, this is where you need to be.

To know Elevate you need to know it's founder and heart and soul, Bethanee Randalls. She is a combination of positive energy, physical and mental strength, and old soul wisdom. And she shares it with all of us through the gym she has built and the coaches she has recruited. It is almost always the best part of my day when I have completed a workout at Elevate. Some days are harder than others, but there is always a way to complete the workout. And all the other members of that class are there to support you and cheer you on.
I think I might be the oldest member of Elevate, but the strength I have gained allows me to do so many things that I know I would have left behind by now. I want to be the best person I can be for the rest of my life and Elevate is helping me do that. I've even stopped whining about burpees.

I have been training with Bethanee Randles for over 5 years now, and I will never look back or elsewhere. She is the best thing that ever happened to me, hands down. Exercise and physical fitness have always been a part of my life, but being coached by Bethanee really was the catalyst for change that I needed. Whoever thought I would be climbing ropes and doing a strict pull-up in my late 50’s?! She is able to push me safely out of my comfort zone, all the while setting me up for success and making the hard work super fun. In addition, she is an expert in nutrition and is able to help anyone who wants to take the steps to build healthy habits for the long term. Her positive energy is contagious and her words of encouragement are heartfelt and sincere.

I've been strength training with Bethanee for about 3 years. She creates workouts that are challenging, never boring, and even fun. Her ability to work with me while recovering from a knee surgery was invaluable in my recovery. Bethanee is a true professional. I trust her to provide a strength and balance training program that is right for me. As an older adult, I find that having a fitness coach to work with is an important part of my ability to continue to stay healthy and strong. What I admire most about Bethanee is her kindness and her positive outlook on life. I highly recommend Bethanee to anyone looking to work with a fitness coach.

I started training with Bethanee exactly one year ago. At the time I was about 20 pounds over weight and not feeling my best.. I asked around if anyone knew of a trainer and I did not want to workout in the traditional gym environment. A friend suggested Bethanee and I reached out, best decision I've made this year. We started to workout three days a week. What I love the most is the workout is always changing, not the same boring exercises each week. I still train with her 3 times a week one year later. I can’t say enough about Bethanee, she is smart, informed, kind, motivating, and just a blast to workout with.
